As we head over the Baron for our last game of the year it’s a good time to reflect on the season. Although wins were hard to come by for both sides on the field, off the field it was a different story with a top effort by the majority of players to support the club at functions and thanks.
To last week's game, a disappointing effort by both teams, but considering the circumstances of being a little short in the player department the ones who did play tried hard. Better players in the Seniors were, Chris Pattie, the Emmerton brothers, Damo Hall and Anthony Johnstone. For the Reserves ‘Old’ Paul Emmo, Tiger Hall, Justin Porter, Ben Reyanga and Jamie ‘Budha’ Bowden.Lets not forget Brutus Gleeson’s effort of kicking five goals.
To this week's game, a big effort by all players would be appreciated because it’s a long time until the next game, with this in mind an upset I think is on the cards. Did I say that?
100 Club tickets are selling fast for the August 21st so don’t miss out as a top day is assured. See Kim Emmerton, or Brutus Gleeson for tickets and details.
Leigh Febey has become some what confused of late after going to pick pizzas up for the family and to his disgust had a few quiet words to the shop staff telling them they had misplaced his phone order and then to find out later he was in the wrong pizza parlour. CHOOK!
